IET Venues Austin Court

Large scale concept & installation

Owned and run by the IET, Austin Court is a unique conference and events venue situated in the heart of Birmingham. Aura were tasked with conceptualising ideas that would ‘inject engineering’ into this historic building in order to reflect its heritage and status as a key IET venue.

In the main entrance hall, visitors are met with a large ‘WELCOME’ display comprising of lots of individual items and parts obtained from, or linked to, major engineering inventions from the West Midlands area. The glass Atrium has been embellished with striking graphics, in contra-vision, showcasing some of the incredible engineering innovations ‘born in Birmingham’.
